afraid to face the fear of what that party has become, the democratic party decided to abandon the country and retreat into the imaginary comfort of darkness they're turning a blind eye to their excesses, like billions of dollars in fraud and giving a pass to “Say it loud, say it clear, we support Hamas here.” and playing pretend that this stuff doesn't matter. The definitional tic of today’s Democrats is a belligerent unwillingness (which ultimately seems to beget a helpless inability) to acknowledge any truth that they find inconvenient or troubling. the only thing this kind of denial achieves is to weaken the party even further, setting the country up for a strong man takeover, that no one will be able to resist. even though Trump is too incompetent to effect such a takeover, he's still able to do a bit of damage, to which the left replies, "It's not our fault!," as if they were just potted plants with no agency. what a sad lot this group has become..... ...
